L'Oréal, Professional Division
Digital Designer (Freelance): March 2017–August 2017
Designed B2B email marketing campaigns for L'Oréal Professional division. Adapted designs for mobile displays, U.S. website, affiliate B2B websites, industry magazine websites, web banner ads, and social media usage. Photographed products for use on website and social media. All designs were created in Adobe Photoshop, to meet global corporate branding standards, best U/X principles, and best web practices.

Elizabeth Arden, eCommerce
Digital Designer (Freelance): April 2015–March 2017
Designed multiple daily global email marketing campaigns for B2C. Adapted designs to various web formats, including U.S., international, and affiliate websites; mobile displays; and re-marketing web banner ads.

HarperCollins Publishers, Adult Trade Division
Design Supervisor: June 1996–June 1998
Co-managed with Executive Art Director approximately 700 titles per year. Art-directed and designed book interiors for fiction, non-fiction, reference, cookbooks, and four-color gift books. Managed design workflow from manuscript through bound book, including: art-direction of in-house staff, freelancers, illustrators and photographers; oversaw department workflow, color correction, and print approval; travelled as needed for on-press print supervision. Responsible for hiring, training, and management of design staff.

Dutton Children’s Books, Penguin USA
Senior Designer: August 1990–January 1992
Designed jackets and interiors for 30–40 titles per year. Managed all phases from layout through production, including: commissioning of jacket artwork, art direction of illustrators and photographers,color correction, and proof checking. Interviewed and hired junior designer. Supervised in-house design staff, freelance designers and mechanical artists. Served as Acting Art Director from September 1991 to January 1992.

Stewart, Tabori & Chang, Inc.
Book Designer: September 1987–August 1990
Designed hardcover four-color gift books, calendars, and sales materials. Created cover and interior comps for promotional use. Handled new titles and reprints for Chanticleer Press, a packaging subsidiary of STC. Collaborated with authors, editors and photographers. Supervised freelance artists.
