About

Since earning my BFA from The School of Visual Arts, I have acquired extensive experience as an art director and graphic designer. I am currently a Senior Art Director at Benchmark Education. I have also worked on-staff at HarperCollins Adult Trade division as a Design Supervisor, as a Senior Designer at Dutton Children’s Books, and as a designer at Stewart, Tabori & Chang. As a freelancer, I have worked with most of the major U.S. publishers, including HarperCollins, Penguin USA, Random House, Simon & Schuster, St. Martin's Press.

I have also designed digital and print collateral materials for a variety of clients, including daily emails, web banner ads, and website assets for Elizabeth Arden and L'Oréal; media credentials for Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game; patient handbooks and brochures for Lenox Hill Hospital; direct-mail brochures for The New York Pops; exhibition catalogs for The National Book Foundation; packaging, posters, print portfolios, and notecard sets for The Museum of Modern Art; postcard production for The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and much more.

In addition to design, I have also provided illustrations for publications such as The Boston Globe, Business Week, GQ Magazine, Manhattan Inc. Magazine, and The Washington Post Magazine. I am a co-founder of the 727 Award at The School of Visual Arts and have been a part-time faculty member at Parsons The New School for Design. I am also a prolific fine-art painter. My paintings are in private collections around the world and can be seen here.
